The OWL is a hovering attack drone that has many uses in the game, as it has four different modes that can be utilized. The four modes that the OWL can use are Attack Mode, Shield Mode, Stun Mode and Zipline Mode. In addition to the above modes, the OWL is also capable to performing hacks, such as disabling alarms.
- Attack Mode - The OWL will fire on any enemy close by, although it can also be ordered to attack someone directly
- Shield Mode - The OWL will place a shield in front of the player, allowing them to shoot through it but stop incoming fire
- Stun Mode - All of the energy for the OWL is used up to deliver a shock blast that stuns humanoid enemies, as well as disable nearby electronics
- Zipline Mode - The OWL creates a zipline that allows the player to quickly traverse environments
The OWL can also be customized, although not much is known about that besides just cosmetic appearances. Players will be able to get some skins for it by preordering the game.
