Just watch the cutscenes from his first battle with Dante, then he delivers the message again as a playable character. He doesn't have the same strong personality in the reboot, but it was necessary, its the first time I like Dante more than Vergil, now I don't have to buy Devil May Cry games praying for a Vergil appearence anymore. But playing as the new Dante will hardly replace the feeling I had the first time I heard "Foolishness, Dante. Foolishness. Might controls everything. And without strenght, you cannot protect anything... Let alone yourself."
