Dragon's Dogma has it set up where as you progress through the main story, sidequests will become available and can't be finished unless you start a New Game+ or a completely new game. This makes it slightly difficult to keep track of when you should do the sidequests, as accepting certain story quests might cancel some sidequests, negating The Hero trophy/achievement on that playthrough. Also, merchants will stock new items during each stage.
STAGE | STORY QUEST | MISSABLE SIDEQUESTS |
1 | New merchant items | |
2 | Come to Court | Dying of Curiosity, Chasing Shadows, A Troublesome Tome, Reaper's Scorn, Wyrmhunt Quests* |
3 | Griffin's Bane and Trials and Tribulations | Supply and Demands and The Conspirators |
4 | The Wyrmking's Ring and Pride Before a Fall | Nothing |
5 | Honor and Treachery and Reward and Responsibility | Duchess in Distress and A Parting Gift |
6 | The Final Battle | All Sidequests |
7 | The Great Hereafter | Nothing |
*The Wyrmhunt Quests consists of four different quests, which are The Cypher, A Fortress Besieged, Seeking Salvation, and The Watergod's Altar. You only need to complete two of them to progress to Come to Court, which makes the other two missable.
