The Mystic Knight is one of the Hybrid Vocations in the game, which is only available to the Arisen. It costs 1,500 Discipline Points in order to switch to it. This class utilizes both swords and magick, letting you use powerful spells and weaponry against enemies.

Mystic Knights are extremely versatile, since they have both magical and melee capabilities. This allows them to be on the frontlines, as well as sit back and throw spells around. They are also very defensive, since they can wear heavy armor, as well as imbue their shields with magical attacks, so enemies attacking will get hit. Their support spells allow them to enchant the whole party's weapons at once, making them even more valuable.
They lose some of their effectiveness when silenced, since they can't use their powerful spells. In addition, they are weak against faster enemies, since their spells can take a long time to be cast, as well as being easy to knock down. Mystic Knights are vulnerable from behind, since they are only really strong defensively in one direction.
