The Strider is one of the Basic Vocations in Dragon's Dogma. They are a damage dealer, meaning their sole purpose is to take out enemies. They are quick both in movement and in their attacks, from up close to farther away. Striders also have the ability to debilitate their enemies, making it easier to kill them.

• Secondary Weapon: Shortbow
• Primary Stat: Strength

One of their greatest strengths is their speed. They can quickly move around the battlefield to hit enemies, as well as avoid their attacks with rolls and double jumps. They are also versatile, as their secondary weapon lets them deal damage without getting into the thick of things. Their ability to stun and distract enemies, as well as slowing them down, makes it easier for other Vocations to do their job. They are the only vocation that can steal items from enemies.

Their weaknesses include their balanced defense, as they are susceptible to both physical and magical attacks. Although their skills may be able to stun enemies, their regular attacks are not able to do such a thing. Also, their attacks don't do much damage per hit, as they are easily outclasses in this area by the Warrior and Ranger.
