Jim Raynor
Jim Raynor was a Confederate marshal on Mar Sara at the time of the first zerg incursions on that world. Despite bravely fighting the alien aggressors and saving many lives, he was arrested by Confederate forces on the pretext of destroying Confederate property at Backwater Station.

Arcturus Mengsk
Arcturus Mengsk has been called a rebel hero, a mass murderer, and nearly everything in between. One word that has never been used to describe him, however, is ‘ordinary’.

Abathur
From their conception, the zerg have been driven to pursue the perfection of their race through merciless, predatory evolution. If the Overmind has been the force behind this directive, the being known as Abathur was born as the instrument of its will.

Dehaka
Dehaka lost his large right arm prior to the Swarm's return to Zerus; it was later to be found in the same area where Sarah Kerrigan defeated the other primal pack leaders.

Yagdra
Yagdra is a Primal Zerg character in the StarCraft universe, one of the pack leaders on Zerus. It looks like an ash worm and spits acid which burns like fire. He is cruel, ruthless and sometimes attacks his own allies to calm down.

Zagara
Like many of the Queen of Blades' creations, the Broodmother Zagara was birthed of the terrible ash and heat of Char. Unlike most zerg, Broodmothers are capable of complex problem-solving and multi-tasking, and are possessed of the ability to command members of their race with fewer sapient traits.

Izsha
With her adversaries among the terran and protoss driven back or vanquished at the conclusion of the Brood War, the Queen of Blades turned to experimentation to advance the Swarm. Just as she was transformed by the Overmind’s ministrations, so too did the Queen’s early attempts at crafting new strains mirror Sarah Kerrigan’s “rebirth.”

Alexei Stukov
Alexei Stukov (also spelled Alexi Stukov) is a human from Earth. He was a vice admiral in the United Earth Directorate (UED). Stukov was murdered in tragic circumstances, then mysteriously revived as an infested terran by the zerg to make use of him for their own deeds.

Matt Horner
The second son of a minor merchant on Tyrador IX, Matt Horner grew up longing for something more interesting than his boring, safe life. He found that something in the tales of a visiting trader, who spoke of an evil empire and the men and women brave enough to plot its downfall.

Horace Warfield
For a man so deeply entwined with the darker, more mysterious aspects of the Dominion, Horace Warfield had a relatively unexceptional childhood. He was born in the Tarsonian coastal city of Kithrup, the youngest son of Shae and Henry Warfield. His parents both worked for the local hospital: his father was an administrator; his mother, a neurosurgeon.

Zeratul is a dark templar, a renowned psionic warrior and assassin whose forbears were exiled from the protoss homeworld of Aiur over a thousand years ago.

Rory Swann
Rory Swann is a Terran character in the StarCraft universe who works as a chief engineer on the Hyperion. He develops new mechanical warfare and constantly improves Jim Raynor's units and vehicles.

Adjutant
The Adjutants are a type of character in the StarCraft universe and a form of AI (Artificial Intelligence) used by the Terrans. Their purpose is to decrypt information, navigate, administrate, store data and advise the terran fleet commanders. While speaking, their eyes' color change.

Artanis
Artanis is a character in the Starcraft franchise. He is a high templar and commander who appears in Starcraft: Brood War and Starcraft II. As an ambitious leader, he is the youngest templar to receive the rank of executor and praetor.

Narud
Emil Narud is a mysterious character in the StarCraft universe, the next form of Samir Duran. As a shapeshifter and servant of a long forgotten God, Amon, his goal is bringing his master back to life and engineer a new faction, the Hybrids, by combining the best Protoss elements with what's the best in the Zerg.

Brakk
Brakk is a primal Zerg character in the Starcraft universe. He was one of the pack leaders on Zerus until Sarah Kerrigan returned and killed him for his offensive actions.

Kate Lockwell
Kate Lockwell is a terran character in the Starcraft universe. She is a news repporter for UNN who often presents the updates about the Dominion's latest actions. She repported lots of tragic incidents including zerg attacks on several planets.

Kraith
Kraith is a Primal Zerg character in Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm, pack leader on Zerus and leader of Kraith's Pack. He is an immerse and consumed creature who gets defeated by Sarah Kerrigan.

Mira Han
Matt Horner was forced to marry Mira Han after winning a poker game. Horner said he would not have played had he known what the "prize" was, and made little effort to maintain contact with her afterward.

Orlan
Orlan is a Terran character in the StarCraft universe, expert in Confederate systems decryption. He got hired by Jim Raynor to decrypt a Dominion Adjutant but he took it and tried to sell it to the Dominion. He got caught and forced by Mira Han to give the device back to Raynor.

Nova Terra
November "Nova" Terra spent the best parts of her youth as the golden child of one of Tarsonis' wealthy Old Families. Though she exhibited signs of burgeoning psionic potential, Nova's parents insisted that she was merely sensitive or "empathetic," hoping to keep her abilities a secret (as much from the Ghost Academy that would conscript their child as from Nova herself).

Lassara
Lassara is a Protoss character in the StarCraft universe who works as a scientist on the frozen planet Kaldir. As the protoss there were defeated by Sarah Kerrigan, she got captured and used to sabotage a Protoss vessel.

Naktul
Naktul is a Zerg character in the StarCraft universe, broodmother on Phaeton. Unlike other queens, she ignored Sarah Kerrigan's human appearance and still considered her the Queen.

Ryloth
Ryloth is a Zerg character in the StarCraft universe, broodmother on Marek V. She kept her brood safe until Sarah Kerrigan returned from Zerus.

Niadra
Niadra is a Zerg character in the StarCraft universe, broodmother on Kaldir. She and her brood fought bravely but got killed by the Protoss. Eventually, as Sarah Kerrigan infiltrated the Protoss ship, the parasite larva was named Niadra and reborn as a new broodmother.

Slivan
Silvan is a Zerg character in Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm who was defeated and absorbed by Sarah Kerrigan. She was hollow and destructive because of her deadly abilities like spawning creepers (similar to Banelings).
