Lon Lon Ranch is located in the center of Hyrule Field. It is run by Talon and his daughter, Malon, and Ingo also works there when Link is a child. When he visits there as a child, he can learn Epona's Song and first meet Epona.
As an adult, it turns out that Ingo now runs the ranch and Talon has moved to Kakariko Village. When Link plays Epona's Song, Ingo is furious as to Epona, which he calls a wild horse, can be tamed. After a race with Ingo, he is mad and bets that Link can't win another race against him. When Link does so, he locks both Link and Epona inside the ranch, which they escape by jumping over one of the outer walls. The ranch is returned to normal after these events.
