The Requiem of Spirit is taught to Link by Sheik, upon exiting the Spirit Temple as an adult. When Link manages to befriend the Gerudos and pass through the Haunted Wasteland, arriving at the Spirit Temple. Unable to go any farther, he exits the temple and finds Sheik, who teaches him the song and tells him to come back here as a child. Note that this song is the only way for Child Link to reach the Spirit Temple. When played, the song will transport Link to the Triforce Pedestal in the Desert Colossus.
