Battlefield 4's multiplayer is similar to Battlefield 3 and features an almost identical class-based system, but it also sees a number of key additions, including all-new game modes and a Commander feature, all of which are detailed on the following pages.
Although current generation consoles are only capable of supporting 24 person multiplayer matches, the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of the game will support up to 64 players in each match and will run at 60 FPS.
Multiplayer also supports squads of up to five players in each match. When in a squad, you will be able to spawn on fellow squadmates, will share experience, and take part in team actions. You also gain access to two sets of upgrade paths as you level up.
