Perks, a staple of the Call of Duty multiplayer system, return in Ghosts, although how they are allotted is different than in previous games. They are things that players can equip on their multiplayer character that give them extra abilities in matches.
Call of Duty: Ghosts have Perks situated differently, as there are now seven different groups of Perks, each with five in that category. It's unclear if Perks will be unlocked as players rank up in multiplayer, although it's leaning towards that. Players have 8 points in which they can equip Perks on their character, with each Perk having its own value ranging from 1-5. Abandoning your Secondary weapon slot, as well as the Lethal and Tactical slots, will give you more points in which to allocate Perks.
