Safeguard is one of the game modes that will be featured as part of the overall Squads mode, and is similar to the Survival Mode that was in Modern Warfare 3. It pits the player and three of the members of their squad, which are controlled via three other players, against waves of A.I. enemies. One benefit about this mode is that Perks and Pointstreaks will be present.
There is one variation on this mode, which is called Safeguard Infinite, which pits the players against infinite waves of enemies.
