Kinzie has found a way for you to get out of the simulation and back into the real world. Get to the door, which is on top of a building, although you try a normal door first that ends up being the wrong one. You'll end up back in the real world, inside some kind of container. Once you break free, stagger through the door and into the next room.
When you're caught by one of the Zin, press the button that appears to grab its gun as your own. Note that the alien weaponry has unlimited ammo, but can overheat if the trigger is held down too long. Go through that door and then up the stairs, fighting the Zin. Once it's clear, head through the next door and you'll find some more Zin to disintegrate.
Keep going past the open bridge-like area and into the room beyond. When you get to the next bridge-like area, you'll have to defend your position from plenty of Zin, some of which will have shields. Continue fighting them until a cutscene occurs with Kinzie showing up in a ship.
Once the cutscene is over, you'll be in control of the ship, so study the controls that appear on your screen. Avoid all of the pieces of the mothership and shoot down any ships that get in your way. Remember to watch out for the rotatin sections with small openings and when you get to the end, another cutscene will happen.
| The Ship will now be available for you to use. You can return to it to talk to your crew, receive new missions, listen to collected audio log entries, as well as read any text adventures you have gotten. Also, Gateways can now be accessed, allowing you to go from the simulation to the ship, where you can get to your weapons cache, clothes, vehicles, and even customize your gang. You now have two new crew members, who are Kinzie and Keith, who will be able to give you new missions. They are available on the ship, which you can access via Gateways found in the simulation. Both of them, as well as any other Homies you acquire, can be called into the simulation to help out in combat. |
