This is the final story mission of the game and it prompts you to make sure you are ready before finally starting it, as you won't be able to stop until you finish. It is a three-stage attack and you'll need three teams, which are split into Pierce and Shaundi, Matt and Asha, and Benjamin and Johnny Gat. Whoever you pick will join you for the first part of the mission.
When you begin, you'll be sitting on the back of the Flatbed and making sure the Zin don't destroy the key. It should definitely be known that Zinyak is going to do everything in his power to try and stop you, as he will send a lot of vehicles your way, including tanks and spaceships. A RPG of some kind is definitely helpful, especially if you have unlimited ammo for it.
There will be one point where you stop and have to clear a roadblock and once you get on a bridge, Zinyak will make your truck disappear. This means you will need to use Telekinesis to move the key the rest of the way to the tower. When you get there, there's a force field blocking the entrance, which C.I.D. will try to hack, so you'll need to defend him.
Focus on portals and Marauders first, as they will be the most troublesome, then you can go after the individual Zin. They will likely interfere so you can't use your powers, but that shouldn't hurt you too much if you have a lot of firepower. Once C.I.D. is finished, grab the key and head inside into the next simulation.
Here, you will need to stomp the breakers in order to get more power to the power cells on the key, so go to each one and use the Stomp as close as possible near each one. The key will start moving now, so defend it from the Zin that are attacking it, making sure you focus on portals first. At some point, the key will stop due to a force field, so you need to go to two generators and disable them to drop it.
Note that there will now be ships trying to attack the key, so make those your top priority. There will be one last stoppage here, which is the server being protected, so you will need to destroy the relays around the area. Some of these are protected by Wardens, so it may take a little longer than usual to clear the areas, although you don't need to kill anything to destroy the relays. Once all of them are gone, C.I.D. will move the key into the server.
Grand Finale Part 2
It's time for the second part of the mission to begin. You'll be back on the ship and will need to choose from one of the remaining two teams to accompany you back into the simulation. When you get in again, head to the platform that is marked and begin by killing 10 aliens. Once you do that, Kinzie will begin constructing a portal and you will need to defend it for a whole minute until it is complete.
One of your team members will stay behind at the first portal to protect, so you can head to the second one. Do the same thing here as with the first, only you have to defend it for 90 seconds. The third portal is just more of the same, but as you might've guessed, you have to defend it for a total of 2 minutes.
It seems the last portal will summon Paul, the giant Saints Flow mascot you fought earlier in the game, but he's on your side this time. Before you get to admire your new friend, the simulation begins shutting down faster than anticipated. Start moving to the exit, as you have 3 minutes to escape. When you get to it, you find it doesn't work, so move to the next one. Eventually, it looks like the game crashes, but you eventually exit the simulation.
Grand Finale Part 3
With the simulation going haywire, it's time to bring the pain to Zinyak himself now. The final group you didn't pick will join you on your travels to the Zin mothership. You need to find the armory first, so keep fighting and moving until you get to the door leading to it, which is locked. One of your homies decides to try and open it, so you'll need to defend them until they do so.
Once they open the door, head inside and then get your very own power armor, which grants you the powers you had in the simulation. When you gain control again, you'll be falling down a shaft. Not too long into the descent, lasers will appear and you cannot touch them at all.
When you reach the bottom, go through the door and follow the path to the power conduits and overload them by attacking them. Run back to the main area and drop down again, this time dodging the debris. This will eventually take you to the throne room, where you'll have to fight with Zinyak.
Final Boss: Zinyak
The boss battle with Zinyak starts with him using a pretty big robot against you. You basically want to keep your distance from him, as his blasts come quick and can do a lot of damage fast. One of the better places to stay is in the center of the room, as you can use the pieces sticking up as cover. Keep firing at Zinyak and once his health reaches a certain point, he will go into the center and activate a force field.
At this point, he will summon a bunch of enemy C.I.D.s and have them home in on you, where they will explode after a few seconds. What you need to do for now is use Telekinesis to send the C.I.D.s back at him. Keep doing this until he summons Zin via portals. For now, go around and destroy the portals until your C.I.D. chimes in and says to disable the generators to bring down the shields.
This next part can be pretty challenging, as there will be a lot of enemies around that will prevent you from disabling the generators. This is where your ice Blast and Buff abilities come into play, as they might be able to hold off the enemies long enough for you to disable the generators. If not, your homies will eventually join in and hopefully hold off the enemies long enough for you to do it.
Once all of the generators are gone, the shield will drop and you can continue attacking Zinyak. He shouldn't have much health left, so keep blasting him until he is ejected from his robot. This will trigger a series of QTEs that will bring an end to the fight. Congratulations! You have beaten Saints Row IV, so sit back and enjoy the ending!
