It is the thirteenth overall game in the Mario Party series and the first one for the 3DS. The game features popular characters from the series coming together to play on various board games, with the goal being to beat the other players to the end.

Super Mario 3D World is the first 3D mario game for the Wii U. The game draws heavily from its predecessor Super Mario 3D Land. It will feature up to four player simultaneous co-op with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad. Each character will have different traits when played such as Princess Peach being able to float similar to in Super Mario Bros. 2.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games is a sports mini-game compilation that is developed by Sega Sports R&D and published by Nintendo, for the Nintendo Wii U. It is the fourth installment in the Mario & Sonic series, which combines Nintendo's popular Mario series with Sega's popular Sonic the Hedgehog series, and has their mascots compete in various Olympic events.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is a role-playing game that was developed by AlphaDream Corporation and published by Nintendo. It was released in Europe on July 12, 2013, in Japan on July 18, 2013 and on August 11, 2013 in North America. It is the fourth entry in the Mario & Luigi franchise, with a heavier focus on Luigi since 2013 is considered the Year of Luigi.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star is an RPG for the Nintendo 3DS developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It is the fourth entry in the Paper Mario series, and the first one to be released on a handheld system. It was released on November 11, 2012 in North America, and December 7, 2012 in Europe. The game is a return to the turn-based RPG play style of the first two games, though this time without any explicit level-up/experience system or party members. Instead of having a range of abilities, items, and helpers at his disposal, Mario is this time given an array of stickers which act as his single-use battle actions. Outside of the battle system, Sticker Star also returns the chapter-book elements of the previous games and the numbered-stage story progression of the third game, Super Paper Mario.

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, developed by Camelot Software Planning and published by Nintendo, is the second and the most sucessful installment in the Mario Golf series and has the biggest choice of characters, courses and gamemodes than any other Mario Golf game to date.

NES Open Tournament Golf is a golf game, developed and published by Nintendo for the NES and Nintendo 3DS via Virtual Console. It is the second in the Mario Golf franchise, but unlike the previous game players can now play as Mario or Luigi. All the courses are based around real world courses, which was never done in any of the following games.

Super Mario Bros. 2 is a platformer developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The Lost Levels was originally Mario Bros. 2 in Japan, but Nintendo of America deemed the game was too difficult. This caused them to release this game, which is modeled after a game called Yume Kojo: Doki Doki Panic.

It was first released on the Nintendo Entertainment System on September 13, 1985 in Japan, in 1985 in North America and on May 15, 1987 in Europe. Since its initial release, it has been ported to a lot of other systems, including but not limited to, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy Advance, and the Wii's Virtual Console.
