Town and City is a new stage that is exclusive to the Wii U version of the game, and is based on areas found in Animal Crossing: City Folk. The stage consists of a large, flat platform and three other, smaller ones floating above it. This platform will "travel" from the town area to the city one over the course of a match. Various characters from the Animal Crossing series can be seen in the background.
