Tomodachi Life is a new stage, exclusive to the 3DS version, and is based on the game of the same name. It functions similarly to Luigi's Mansion from Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where it is a building with the front walls removed, so players can see the fight going on inside. The rooms and their positions are randomly placed, selected from a few different types, with Miis coming from the 3DS system sometimes appearing.
