Skyloft is a new stage that is exclusive to the Wii U version of the game, and is based on the same area in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. It is very similar to Delfino Plaza from Brawl, with a central platform that moves around and drops the players off at various locales in Skyloft. The moving platform has a couple variations, but it's always the main platform and some other ones suspended in mid-air.
There are various stops that have been shown, including one in front of the Statue of the Goddess. Other areas include in front of the bazaar, a bridge over the stream, and even on top of a windmill. Even more areas are present, such as the Light Tower, the staircase leading to the Knight Academy, an area in front of the lake, the front of Batreaux's house and another section with another windmill.
