Dark ChuChus are a special type of ChuChu that cannot be killed using normal means. When attacked, they split up and then regenerate, making it impossible to use weapons on them. The only way to get rid of them is by using a source of sunlight, such as the Mirror Shield or by using Medli to reflect the sunlight onto them. When done, they will turn into stone, where you can either throw them, use them in puzzles, or smash it with the Skull Hammer. If you take too long, they will return to normal. They can only be found in the Earth Temple, Savage Labyrinth and Ganon's Tower.
