Mothulas are moth-like creatures that come in two varieties, winged and wingless. Both have the habit of releasing Morths to try and slow Link's movement down. They also can charge at Link, which can be parried. The first time Link encounters one is in the Forbidden Woods as a mini-boss, after which he will acquire the Boomerang. The Boomerang, Hookshot, and normal arrows will clip their wings. If you want to kill them in one hit, Fire, Ice or Light Arrows will do the trick.
