Upon visiting the Tower of the Gods, Link will encounter a Darknut as a miniboss. Its defeat will allow Link to claim the Hero's Bow. This weapon allows Link to shoot arrows at distant enemies and objects. As he progresses through the game, he will be able to get elemental upgrades to his arrows.
The Fire & Ice Arrows can be found at the Mother & Child Isles (B2), by talking to the Queen of the Fairies. The Light Arrows will be found in the final dungeon of the game. You can switch between the arrows by first drawing your bow, and then pressing the R button.
