Beamos are statues that look like normal ones until Link gets close enough, which will make an orb appear on top and it will fire a laser beam very quickly at . There are two types of Beamos in the game, Blue Beamos and Red Beamos. The Blue ones will fire a laser straight, while the Red ones will track Link around within its radius.
The easiest way to destroy a Beamos is to hit it in its eye with an arrow when it fires its beam at you. It can also be destroyed by using Bombs, but that takes precise timing, as the orb only appears right before and while it fires the beam.
