Sliders are a type of small Gear in the shape of wings. They have some type of built in artificial intelligence that allows autonomous movement and action but they can also be worn and used by piloting cyborgs. The large wings can flap, allowing them to hover in a single spot or glide for long distances.
These Sliders all have some kind of firearm attached. Frequently, they'll have a mounted machine gun as well as rockets. It takes very little damage to destroy the Slider itself and dislodge any Cyborg that's attached to them. Because of their ranged weapons, agility, and relative frailty, they are usually a high priority at the start of a fight. Bringing these down will remove a lot of potential threat very quickly and in relative safety (since you have to be in the air to do so).
