Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Characters List

Raiden is the code name of Jack, a member of a PMC who is tasked with the protection of a Prime Minister in Africa. They are ambushed by the PMC Desperado and the Prime Minister is killed. Raiden takes on a mission to destroy Desperado and gets invested in a personal mission along the way.

Bladewolf is one of the first bosses you encounter in the game and after his defeat will become a companion. He is an artificial intelligence encased in a mechanical wolf like body (with armaments). Throughtout the game, Raiden is a character confident in his convictions while Bladewolf is a skeptical intelligence.

Steven Armstrong is the U.S. Senator from Denver. He has been investigated for a number of crimes including dirty business dealings with World Marshal PMC to whom Denver's police contracts have been outsourced. The Senator is interested in causing more wars in an effort to eliminate PMCs all together and bring about a new freedom in which "people only fight for themselves and not for the causes or ideals of others"

Courtney Collins is the Data Anylist for Maverick Security Consulting. She spends most of her time tracking Raidens movements and vitals through a variety of imbedded sensors and GPS. Through this, she has a working knowledge of current technology.

Doktor has lived through the Cold War on the eastern side of Berlin. After the wall fell, he was able to actively persue his passion of Cybernetics to become one of the world leaders in the field. While he is generally more interested in the scientific breakthroughs, he becomes more sympathetic to those that his research effects through the course of the game.

Boris is the owner and operator of Maverick Security Consulting. He's responsibe for both the business end of the operation as well as the missions that they undertake. Throughout the game, he is a constant companion to Raiden.

Andrey is an ex-Russian militant who is working with Desperado. Despite this, he isn't actually part of the PMC so much as a collaborator and ally. He is using their actions as a means to helping achieve his own goals. He also seems to be romantically interested or involved with Mistral.

Mistral is a woman with a similar childhood as Raiden. As a child, her entire family was murdered and she learned how to kill young. She is part French, part Algerian and is part of Desperado. She is the boss at the end of R-01.

Samuel Rodrigues is a member of Desperados PMC. While he isn't the leader of the PMC, he seems to have substantial influence over its operations. It is suspected that he influenced their operations so that he might have a rematch with Raiden before the end...

Sundowner is the unofficial leader of Desperados PMC. He is an intimidating warrior and a cunning manipulator. While he has no love for the SOP and seems uninterested in taking their place, he is very interested in restarting the War Economy so that he might benefit from it.

Monsoon is a deadly lieutenant in Desperado. He has control over certain magnetic forces and his body is designed in such a way to work with this control. Monsoon is interested in War not for economic gain but for how it allows the strong to trim the weak from society.

Sunny Emmerich is the adopted daughter of Hal Emmerich. She makes an appearence during the game and helps Raiden track down and gain access to U.S. Senator Steven Armstrong.

Steven Armstrong is a U.S. Senator from Denver who has his fingers and many pies. He's interested in starting up another set of wars to rid the world of PMCs and establish a new freedom where people no longer fight and die for the causes and ideals of others.
