As with previous Call of Duty titles, Black Ops II features the Intel collectible. Each level has three of these hidden throughout it, with all you have to do is hold down a button when prompted to collect them. The intel in the past stages look like tape recorders, while the intel in future stages look like tablet devices. They are only in the campaign levels, and not in any of the Strikeforce stages.
| NOTE - Whenever you collect an Intel, you will have to finish the rest of the mission. That means if you miss one and go back to collect it, you will need to finish the rest of the mission for it to count. You will get the High IQ trophy/achievement after collecting the last Intel and finishing that mission. |
Pyrrhic Victory
#1) At the beginning of the mission, your objective is to "Eliminate the mortar crew," so go forward and find the burning vehicle on its side. The Intel is inside of the crater to the right of that vehicle.
#2) When you're on the barge, go up the left ladder and you'll find the Intel right around the corner. It is on the floor.
#3) When you retreat back to the river, you will have to defend your position and the Intel will be found by the second cover point. Look for the trees that have ladders that you can climb; the one farthest to the right will have the Intel.
Celerium
#4) This Intel is located in the area after the winged suit sequences. When you first enter the area with the VTOLs, go to your left and you'll find a room in the stone wall. The Intel will be in that room.
#5) When you enter the research facility, you will come to a corridor where an explosion will occur. You will see some robotic enemies and an office to your left. Run towards the robots and to your left, where you'll find the door to the office and the Intel will be on the desk.
#6) After you free Erik from the container and have gotten the Celerium, you will need to go into the hole directly opposite where the room where the Celerium was located. Once you go into the room, instead of going left where you're supposed to go, straight ahead and slightly to the right is the Intel on a desk.
Old Wounds
#7) After you ride your horse to the base and go inside the cave, there will be a conversation with some allies. While talking with them, there will be an attack on the base. When you get control of your character, don't go outside but look to your right to find the Intel.
#8) As you leave the base after the attack, head completely straight from the base's entrance until you run into a red flag. The Intel will be on the ground near the flag.
#9) This is located close to the weapons cache that you have to take later on in the mission. Before crossing under the wooden bridges, there is a path that leads up to the right. Take that and head away from the weapons cache to find a dark, little cave, where you'll find the Intel on the ground.
Time and Fate
#10) The first Intel is located after opening the doors of the barn and horses come running at you. Before exiting the barn, there will be a wagon on your right. The Intel is located on the back of that wagon.
#11) As you're assaulting the mansion near the end of the mission, you will see three very tall towers. There's a ladder inside the first tower, so climb it and you'll find the intel on a box on a ledge, before reaching the top.
#12) This one is located inside of the cocaine bunker. It is found in a small room off to the left, after making your way through the first big room.
Fallen Angel
#13) This Intel is located in the room where you begin the mission. It is on a shelf to the right.
#14) As you're traversing through the flooded town, there will be a gate to your left and a bus making its way towards you. Mash the button to open the gate with Harper and you'll find the Intel on the ground in the alley to the right in this new area.
#15) Once you make your way past all of the drones, you'll enter a tunnel of sorts and as you first step foot in it, some debris will fall straight ahead. You'll find the Intel on the ground amongst this debris.
Karma
#16) You will infiltrate the CRC Room with Salazar, and end up having to fight some enemies. The Intel can be found in this room, on a desk on the right side.
#17) When you get to the mall, you will need to go down to the lower level and find a store with the name of "d'HO." This store is on the right side of the lower and the Intel will be located on the counter in the far back of the store.
#18) As you're chasing down DeFalco at the end, you'll be in a large round area. Stay on the right side of this area and you'll come across an advertisement with a woman on it. Just ahead of this is a kiosk with the Intel on it.
