In TranZit, players can find items laying around in the various areas that they can use to build items that help them progress farther or help them kill zombies. Each player can only carry one of these items at a time. Each area will have a work table, which is a wooden table with a blueprint above it. Note that some items are specific to a certain table.
TURBINE
The Turbine requires three items, all of which are found in the same spot in the bus depot at the beginning of any TranZit game. The Fan is on the seats, the Mannequin is near the sign and the Tail Fin is near the phone and lockers. The Turbine is required to open some doors, and it can be used to give power to Perk-A-Cola machines, but note that if you remove it, that Perk will be inactive until that machine is powered again.
ZOMBIE SHIELD
The Zombie is similar to the Assault Shield in the campaign/multiplayer, and only requires two items. They are the Car Door and the Dolly, both of which are found at the Diner (second stop). The Car Door is inside the garage, while the Dolly can be found inside of the Diner behind the counter. This weapon can be used to bash zombies away, but any zombies killed by it will not yield points. When you're not using it, the shield will be on the player's back, protecting them from behind.
TURRET
The Turret can be built at the Farm (third stop), and requires 3 different items. The Machine Gun can be found in the house or at the barn, the Ammo Pouch can be found in the living room or kitchen of the house, and the Lawnmower can be found around the sides of the house.
This item is similar to the Sentry Turret, in that it only fires in front of where it's facing. Note that a Turbine is required to power this item at all times, as it won't function without it. If a player is hit by a shot from the Turret, they will be downed with just one shot.
POWER SWITCH
The Power Switch is needed to turn the power on, and all three items required are located in the lab at the Power Station. The three items are the Hand, the Lever and the Switch Panel. When the power is turned on, all Perk-A-Cola machines are activated, and the lamp posts are lit along the bus route.
ELECTRIC TRAP
The Electric Trap can be built at the Power Station, and requires three items, all of which are found at the Power Station. The Car Battery, Metal Plate, and Glass Front are all found inside the brick building, although an item may sometimes be found in the lower area of the building. Think of this like the electric fly trap, as when it's on, zombies will be attracted to it and try to attack it. This item requires a Turbine in order to operate.
JET GUN
The Jet Gun, also know by its official name of Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23, can be built at the bench in the bar at the Town section. The problem with this is the pieces required to build it are across the entire Green Run map. The Gauge is normally in the cabin between the Power Station and Town. The Jet Engine is found in the tunnel between the Bus Stop and Diner. The Handbrake is located in Nacht Der Untoten. The last item, the Wires, can be found in the brick building at the Power Station are you turn the power on. Only one of these weapons can be made at a time.
PACK-A-PUNCH MACHINE
All of the parts for the Pack-A-Punch Machine are located in one place, which is the bank in the Town area. The items are the Battery, the Table and the Pack-a-Punch Sign. You will need two grenades and the Turbine in order to access the area with the machine and parts. To open the actual door to the area with the parts, you need to go to the Power Station and go inside the lab; as soon as you drop down into the lab, turn around and place the Turbine next to the thing with the lightning bolt symbol.
After doing that, go to the Town area and into the bank. Find the bank vault door and throw a grenade at its base to blast it open. Do the same with the second vault door, then you'll find the entrance to the Pack-a-Punch area here (marked with the same symbol as above if you didn't open it already). In this science lab area, you will find the three parts randomly placed, with the work table and Pack-a-Punch right next to each other.
Not all weapons can be Pack-a-Punched, but a majority can and they are usually upgraded with extra power and ammo. It costs 5000 points to upgrade a weapon, and it costs 2000 points to toss in your weapon to get a random attachment. Not all weapons can have an attachment.
NAVIGATIONAL TABLE
The Navigation Table can be built at the radio tower that is across from Nacht Der Untoten, in the cornfield. This item requires four parts, which are the NavCard, the Card Reader, the Radio, the Table and the Meteor. These parts are scattered acrossthe entire map, so it will take some legwork to get them all. This item is required for the Richtofen's Path of the Tower of Babble easter egg.
The NavCard can be found on the ground behind the Bus Depot. The Meteor can also be found at the Bus Depot, but it's in a hole in the wall on the outside. The Card Reader can either be found in the dumpster at the Town area, or next to the fridge where you can store weapons in the Farm area. The Radio also has two locations, one of which is in the garage at the Diner, or the other location is Nacht Der Untoten. The Table can be found either be found in the tunnel between the Bus Depot and Diner, or it can be found in the room on the bridge when escaping from the lab with the power.
