The S12 (Saiga-12) is a semi-automatic shotgun that is unlocked after completing Pyrrhic Victory in the campaign. Although it's unlocked early in the campaign, it's never part of a recommended loadout. One good thing about it is that it uses a magazine for its ammunition, so it's slightly faster to reload than other shotguns, but it's still slow. It's unlocked at level 4 in Multiplayer, but it requires an Unlock Token to use it.
In Zombies, it can be found in the Mystery Box, meaning it will cost at least 950 points in order to acquire one. It's a subpar weapon to use, as it's a mirror of the multiplayer version and will require multiple shots around round 10 to down zombies. When Pack-a-Punched, it becomes the Synthetic Dozen, which increases max ammo capacity and damage. Using the Pack-a-Punch again will give it a random attachment.
