The Ballista is a bolt-action sniper rifle that was first seen in the Multiplayer reveal trailer. Known attachments include the ACOG Scope, Variable Zoom, Suppressor, Laser Sight, Iron Sights, FMJ, Extended Mags, Dual Band, and Ballistics CPU.
The real Ballista is manufactured by FNH USA, and is due to be commercialized in 2012. It fires .338 Lapua, .300 Win. Mag. or .308 Win. rounds by swapping out the barrel. Its firing range is up to 1500m.
