The SVU-AS is a bullpup sniper rifle. Known attachments include the ACOG Scope, Laser Sight, Variable Zoom, FMJ, Dual Band, Extended Mags, Ballistics CPU, and a Suppressor.
The real SVU-AS is manufactured in Tula, Russia. and was disigned by the Central Sportingand Hunting Arms Design Bureau. It fires Russian 7,62x54mm bullets. Early designs for a new sniper rifle for the Soviet airborne came out in the 70's, but the they never materialized. In the mid-90's, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs resurrected the project and designed the SVU-AS for Russian law enforcement units. It was used during the Chechen War.
