The AK74u is a fully automatic SMG that is only available during the campaign and zombies modes. It is unlocked by completing Karma during the campaign. This gun has a clip size of 30 rounds, with that increasing to 40 with Extended Clip equipped.
In Zombies, the AK74u can be found in TranZit and on Nuketown Zombies, where it costs 1200 points. While it's a great weapon to use in early rounds, the small magazine capacity makes it so you will have to reload often. When Pack-a-Punched, it becomes the AK74fu2, which has an increased ammo count and a Reflex Sight attached to it.
