Ill explain it basically im a die hard dead space fan love the first two to pieces. At first it was a bit different there are a lot more cut scenes than the previous two the feel of it is almost unsettlingly tame but at the same time its also nice cause they are trying to interest more than just the hardcore gamers.The game is much more interactive and it offers the ability to combine and create new weapons. You also now have the ability to crouch, roll in all four directions. I think my initial thought of it was its not near as gritty and rough cut feeling. Its smooth sleek and refined They chanced a lot with this one but it holds its place at the top for my own opinion sorry if you degree if you decide to buy hope you enjoy :)

So far, so good. I've never actually played a Dead Space game before so this is a first. Enjoying it though and it does get pretty tense at points. It does have sort of an action movie feel to it but not bad. 8-8.5/10?

Bioshock it is

I'd go Bioshock, while Dead Space does have good scares, gameplay and storyline, for some reason it is very shortlived. I'd go bioshock hands down but if possible, get both :P

BioShock without a second thought

lots of split reviews about this game but I can definitely understand why, the dead space series is well known for it's gameplay and mechanics as well as its engaging and truly terrrifying storyline. I am still progressing through dead space 3 but so far it's a very exciting game and the story never fails to amaze me, I just hope it lives up to the previous dead space titles.

It's interesting because I can definitely see the split reviews. I wouldn't call it a great game but I rather enjoy it. I don't usually agree so closely with any one reviewer but I think IGN hit the nail on the head. There's a lot of things wrong with the game but the gameplay and mechanics are rather engrossing and keep you interested even when you have no (good) narrative motivation to continue.

i just beat dead space 3 and it sucked so bad.
