The Winged Pikmin (also commonly referred to as Pink Pikmin, and known in the early stages of development as Magenta Pikmin) are a new type of Pikmin introduced in Pikmin 3. They were first seen at Nintendo's E3 2012 press conference.
Magenta Pikmin can fly using small wings and have strikingly large heads topped with a violet flower.
