Go up at the beginning and open the Red Orb Chest, as well as the ones with a Gorgon Eye and Phoenix Feather. After that, run to the opposite end of the area and if you don't have max health/magic, open the chests. Look below to see ideal preparations for the upcoming battle. When you're ready, open the doorby the health/magic chests, then grab the Eyes of Truth from the middle.

| The upcoming battles are probably the hardest in the game. There are no checkpoints, nor are there any health or magic chests, so you will have to do with what the enemies drop. There are three waves of enemies and if you die at all, then you start over from the beginning of the first wave. Hopefully you managed to max out both your magic and health meters by collecting 15 Phoenix Feathers and 20 Gorgon Eyes, respectively. It helps to have the Soul of Hades at least level 3, for its Rage attack (Army of Hades). It also helps to have the Amulet of Uroborus and Oath Stone of Orkos at level 2, since you'll be using them a lot. It also helps to have the Blades of Chaos at least level 3. |
After grabbing the Eyes of Truth, the platform will descend and you'll be on a larger platform. Go to the south end and use the Eyes on the black thing to reveal a clamp that you can grapple. As soon as you do this, the platform will start going up and when it stops, some pillars will rise and the first wave will begin.
WAVE 1
This is undoubtedly the hardest wave and one wrong move during the second part can screw you over quick. At first, two Gorgons will spawn, so use the Amulet and Oath Stone to attack and slow them down. When they are immobilized by the Amulet, get a combo off on it/them. When you see a red halo, grapple and do the mini-game to kill it, earning you blue and red orbs. Once one dies, another one will spawn and when two die, the hellish part starts.
After killing two of the Gorgons, you will be fighting another two, plus two Sirens. This makes for a pretty hectic battle, as electricity will be flying everywhere and you need to contend with the Gorgons' attacks. This is the time you should use a magic attack or two, preferably Destruction of Ares or Wrath of Zeus.
Once again, the Amulet and Oath Stone will be saviors here, as slowing some enemies down will help with getting breathing room, as well as give you free attacks if you can. If your Rage Meter is ready for use, switch to Soul of Hades and use that one, since it is very helpful. Whenever you can do a brutal kill (red halo), do so to refill some of your magic meter.
In total, you fight 4 Gorgons and 4 Lightning Sirens in this wave. After they're all dead, use the Eyes and grapple to make the platform move again like before.
WAVE 2
While this wave isn't as hard as the first, it is highly annoying because you have no room to move, since it's like a hallway. The first set of enemies here include two Amazons, as well as some Harpies. The bigger problem of the two is the Amazons, as they can corner you and deal some good damage. If you didn't go too crazy with magic in the last wave, use it up now.
Don't forget to use the Amulet and Oath Stone to slow down and damage the enemies. Get a few hits in on the Amazons, then back off, and don't forget that they have distance attacks. They can tag team with the Harpies, hanging in the air and throwing spears at you. Jump and grapple to bring them down, then concentrate on them until they die.
Once you eliminate the first set of enemies, the statues will start spewing fire one at a time, from back to front. Stay at the very southern section of the area and wait until Harpies spawn. Grapple them and throw them to the south to instantly kill them. There are only three and once they die, a Lightning Talos will spawn. Due to it being slow, the Oath Stone is great here, as is the Amulet. When it becomes invulnerable, stay away and don't touch the fire. When you see the red halo, do the brutal kill to finish it off.
In total, you fight 2 Amazons, 6 Harpies and a Lightning Talos in this wave. After they're all dead, use the Eyes and grapple to make the platform move again like before.
WAVE 3
They save the best for last! Well, not really, since this is considered the easiest wave out of the three. You might want to hold off on rolling like crazy on this wave, since the waves are spiked. Your first opponent is a Centaur and while it can put a lot of hurt on you, it's pretty easy to fight and you'll be happy after doing a brutal kill on it.
The best thing to do is stay away from it, which will prompt it to charge at and grab you, with a short and quick QTE to get it off of you. Once you do that, get a combo in and then back away again. Keep doing this until you see the red halo, then do the QTEs to kill it and be rewarded with a decent amount of health.
The second set of enemies are Wraiths, with two appearing at first. They don't seem to summon the shadow versions, but instead concentrate on throwing their weapons at you. They can be launched into the air with the <Hold Triangle> move, so if you need a breather, do that and unleash a combo while they're in the air. One more will spawn after one of the first two dies and if you die on these, you will have to start over from Wave 1 again.
BACK TO THE NORM
Congratulations! You cleared the hardest section of the game! Use the Eyes of Truth once more on the south side of the platform, then grapple to make it rise to the top. Make sure you open the Green/Blue Chests here, then go over and close the giant doors by grappling them.
Go to the center dome structure, where the Eyes of Truth once were, and find the lever on the south side. Use the Eyes to clear the barrier, then grab it and pull it all the way back, creating a clone to hold it in place. Use the Eyes to clear the barrier from the portal and go through it. Once through, the area you are in will start descending. Go forward and to the right to find the Antikythera Mechanism Artifact, then open the door for a cutscene.
