You'll be thrown into a battle after the cutscene, against some Spartan soldiers. Equip the Soul of Hades and use the Plume of Hades move to easily take them out with hardly any trouble at all. After they're dead, it's time for a boss battle with Megaera!
BOSS: MEGAERA
Megaera will constantly summon Spartan soldiers during the first phase, but it might help a lot if you kill all but one. Also, make sure you pick up one of the spears for later on, as you will need it. Megaera will only have two attacks in the first phase, which are a ground pound with a slight shockwave, and a combo attack up close. The Plume of Hades move is a great tactic here, as the fist seems to slightly stun and knock her back. Once you see some green orbs coming from her, it's time for the second stage. The arena widens a bit and any leftover Spartan soldiers will still be here, but there won't be any new ones spawning. She has plenty of new moves here, with the first one being displayed shortly after the second stage begins. She'll hop around on the buildings, then the screen will slow down a bit and she'll pound the ground, sending out a huge shockwave; you can double jump over it. She still employs the normal ground pound, but also has a new array of melee moves. Do not get greedy with trying to hit her, as the hits cause a good amount of damage. She can do a 4-hit combo, with the first hit being a sideways swipe with her claws, then the ground pound, then another sideways swipe and ending with a forward stab. She can also grab you after bouncing off the walls of the building; escape by pressing the designated button. Once again, when you see green orbs come out, the second phase is over and the third stage begins. She'll stay on top of the buildings now and summon more Spartan soldiers. She doesn't attack directly from up there, but will send out some of her bugs from time to time. What you need to do is throw the spears at her until she falls down and becomes grappable. This will start a QTE that will immediately throw you into the next boss battle!
BOSS: TISIPHONE
The battle with Tisiphone is a lot more manageable, as her attacks are a lot easier to dodge due to the larger arena. Also, all of her attacks involve her bird creature, so don't worry about anything from her actual body. The first part will have you on a ledge doing the whole dodge and attack thing. Always dodge to the right, attacking in between, until Kratos grabs it and tackles it to the ground. It's now time for the actual battle to begin. Tisiphone has a few attacks to watch out for, such as a projectile attack that goes straight, which is easily evaded. She can also charge in a straight line with the bird, as well as grab you if you're too close. She can also send down energy geysers from the sky when she stays in the air for a prolonged time. Eventually, she will just stay in the air and keep sending down energy blasts. Dodge them all and keep attacking her in between the times when she isn't attacking. After enough damage, she will drop to the ground and you can grapple. A short QTE will occur and the next battle will begin.
BOSS: MEGAERA & TISIPHONE
It's a tag team now and definitely not in your favor, as Megaera decided to join her sister in ending you. You need to contend with both of their moves, although it's a little easier since the arena is bigger. One of the new moves is a tag team move where Tisiphone's bird picks up Megaera and she does a few melee attacks, then does the big ground pound shockwave from your first fight. She'll be vulnerable to attacks for a few seconds after this attack, so get a combo in, then back away. There's another tag team attack where Megaera will do the big ground pound shockwave, where she stabs the ground once, then stands up tall and does it. When you see both go to the far end of the screen and Megaera do the big shockwave, she'll be covered by an orb and she can't be attacked anymore. Tisiphone will now stay in the air and keep sending down energy blasts, while Megaera will do nothing but walk around and do the small ground pounds. At first, Tisiphone will stay to the left, then go to the right after enough damage and lastly, she will be at the far end of the screen. Eventually, Tisiphone will drop to the ground and you can grapple her. The following QTE is the first time in the game that an analog stick motion will appear, which happens after the second button. Grapple her again, then hit the analog stick QTE and keep attacking afterwards to finish the fight.
After the battle, you will earn The Oath Stone of Orkos, an item that allows you to create a double of Kratos. Grab the crank and turn it all the way. While holding R1, hold L2 and then press Triangle to make a double that will hold the crank. Jump on the lowered platform, then release the double with L2 + Triangle again to make the platform rise and enter The Forearm of Apollo.
