Super Mario 3D World is the first 3D mario game for the Wii U. The game draws heavily from its predecessor Super Mario 3D Land. Each character will have different traits when played such as Princess Peach being able to float similar to in Super Mario Bros. 2.

Pikmin 3 is the upcoming third entry in the Pikmin franchise and the direct sequel to the 2004 GameCube game, Pikmin 2. Originally planned for Wii, development has now shifted to Wii U and the game is due to be released in 2013.
