Resident Evil 6 - Chapter 4: Still On The Run

City and Highway

Another driving section, as Jake, and a shooting section, as Sherry.

Highway: As Jake

• Accelorate with R1/RT and use the L stick to avoid obstacles and parked cars. Since there is no rush, take your time coasting on the streets to avoid damaging the bike's health. Avoid dropped Molotov cocktails and walls as you head over jumps and Sherry clears any enemies.
• When you and your partner are separated, hit R1/RT to accelorate and catche her as she falls.
• When the helicopter shoots the oil tanker, press Square + X / X + A to slide under.
• Continue through the streets and when you jump up a ramp into a small alley, prepare to his X/A to avoid being shot by the chopper.

Highway: As Sherry

• Although Sherry is mostly along for the ride, she does have a few key things that she needs to do.
• Shoot the explosive barrel next to the RPG J'avo to avoid being blown up.
• Shoot enemy bikes to avoid them from damaging yours.
• When you are separated from your partner, tap Square/X rapidly to hold onto the helicopter.
• When you slide under the oil tanker and must slow-mo shoot it, first look in the upper left corner for a Serpent Emblem.
• Shoot the oil tanker to explode and then continue to the end of the driving section.

Poisawan Courtyard

If you have played Chris' Campaign you'll know that Sherry and Jake are ambushed in the courtyard as the BSAA cover above. Get out of the helicopters sights by hiding under awnings and shoot the J'avo from a distance. Eventually the J'avo numbers will demish enough that the remaining enemies will be marked on the map. Kill off all the enemies and shoot the final one on the choppers wing.

Clear the area of crates and drops and then create/wait for a path so Sherry can climb up to the partner required door.

Boss: Enemy Attack Chopper - L

Chris and the others are in trouble up on the roof and need your help. Start by killing all the Noga-Shakanje in the area dn then check the whole area for crates.

Once you are clear to enter combat, switch your Bear Commander to Explosive Rounds and follow the helicopters path. While the chopper is not in range, cover yourself from spawning J'avo. When it comes into range, shoot it with the Bear Commander.

If you are playing as Sherry, you are limited to two rooftops. If you are playing as Jake, you have much more range. There is one rooftop, which the chopper flies over and you can grab onto it's rope that dangles from below. If you hop on this, climb it to the top, and shoot the pilot you gain a achievement/trophy Hard Choice.

Eventually the chopper will go down and you can continue.

Poisawan - Shopping District

Make your way down the alley, breaking crates, and collecting the two chests of 2,000 Skill Points (directly after leaving the first open area) and 5,000 Skill Points (just before the area where rioters were running through). In the with the red pedestrian signs, look in the rear window of one of the cars for a Serpent Emblem before moving on.

Surprisingly, it takes getting to chapter 4 to finally play some of the same content that was available in the demo. Start by killing all the enemies that ambush your small alley and then grab the Green Herb on the crates directly to your right as you exit. Make your way through the street, slowly picking off J'avo as they approach, and then snipe the two J'avo in the back. On a crate, about 3/4's of the way up the street, you should find some 7.62mm Ammo that you should grab near.

• Climb the ladder near the sniper ammo and swing across to the other side where you can drop down and unlock the door for Sherry.

• As Jake unlocks the door, all chrystalis enemies will pop and ambush you. Use the Sniper Rifle's quick shot to take them out and keep moving until Jake opens the door and joins you.

Head down the small alley and through the partner required door.

The small square with all the corpses is about to be ambushed through the far door. Start by equipping a Flash Grenade and then walk to the back door. When the enemies come rushing through, throw the Flash Grenade and then set a Remote Bomb in the middle of the crowd. Take out any stragglers before you head though the next door.

Climb the stairwell and break the crates, grab the Shotgun, and check the niche for a chest with 4,000 Skill Points. When you're ready jump across the gap and fall to the ground. As your partner makes their way down to your location, use the Quick Shot in the Shotgun and your Sniper Rifle to protect yourself from enemies. Kill everything in sight and then head back to where you fell and look in a small alcove opposite the taxi for a Serpent Emblem.

Slowly make your way forward on the street level and grab the 7.62mm Ammo from a crate near a broken ladder that you should vault Sherry up to.

Shopping District: As Jake

• Let Sherry take out the gunners at the back of the area while you avoid taking damage. If you want, take cover and shoot at them when they reload, but avoid using grenades or Remote Bombs.

Shopping District: As Sherry

• Make your way forward slowly as you snipe the enemies on the lower levels from cover. When you reach the gap to drop down or across, jump across the area and down the other side where you can grab a Green Herb before hoping down and unbolting the door to progress.

Double check the area for crates and drops and head through the door into another alley. Break the crates and climb the nearby ladder to a scaffolding and then look down into the area below for a Serpent Emblem. Shoot it and continue to the boss fight.

Boss: Ubistvo

There is a quick method to defeat this guy safely if you have a stockpile of Remote Bombs. Start by finding the two ladders in the center of the area that have a small bridge between then and set a Remote Bomb on one side. Lure the boss to jump up that side and then detonate the bomb. This should stagger him and let you get a melee attack in. Rinse and repeat until dead.

The other method is to simply use the ladders to slow down Ubistvo as you take pot shots at him until dead.

Airplane Crash Site

Head through the new path and watch Leon's plane crash. Make your way through the alley and stock up and reload for the next Ustanak fight.

Boss: Ustanak

The first round with this guy is straight forward. Start by climbing the ladder on the crate in the left side of the area and pushing over some explosive canisters. When the Ustanak gets near them, shoot them to cause massive damage. Stay away from him, using the container as a good way to keep out of range. If a party member is grabbed at any point, release them with a Partner Assist. When he finally disappears, follow Leon and Helena to the gate where you split up with your partner again.

Airplane Crash Site: As Jake

• Continue moving and watch out for Ustanak's grenades. There is not much you can do, except stay alive, so keep moving until Sherry drives the bus through the wall and opens the new area.

Airplane Crash Site: As Sherry

• You and Leon are split up from Jake and Helena with no way to get back. Check the area for some crates and then check the back of the bus for some QTE prompts.
• With Leon's help, press Square/X repeatedly to open the engine panel and then head to the drivers seat and press O/B to hop inside.
• Once Leon says he is ready, hit Square/X to start the bus and drive it through the gate to open a new area at the far end with more containers full of explosive cansiters.

In the new area, check around for more crates of ammo and then examine the forklift to drop the plank and allow you to get up to even more containers full of explosive canisters. Using these, lure the Ustanak in for more damage until he is defeated.

When you are split from Leon and Helena, check for crates nearby and drop down into the sewers to make your way to the docks.

Stilt Housing Area

If you are playing as Jake, you will automatically take the wheel and drive the barge. If you are playing as Sherry, run to the back of the barge and take the wheel. Avoid obstacles by rotating the L stick while the AI takes out the flying enemies until you reach the half sunken pagoda.

Boss: Ubistvo

Once again the key is Remote Bombs set in the Ubistvo's path and detonated as he walks over it; this will also take out any J'avo in the area as an added bonus. Keep running up and down the walkway to avoid being sawed in half and when he staggers run up and get a melee attack off. If you are out of Remote Bombs, or run out mid battle, switch to the Explosive Rounds on the Bear Commander or the Shotgun until he falls into the water.

Head down the sign and hop onto the new boat and start it up by examining the engine and completing a timed Square/X QTE. Once started, turn around and grab the controls to avoid Ubistvo's obstacles (No barge in the world turns that abruptly Capcom). Eventually the barge will collide with an obstacle and you will need to fight Ubistvo again.

Boss: Ubistvo - Cont.

Keep moving until he gets himself into a corner and then use the Explosive Bear Commander or Shotgun on him until a cutscene occurs and Ubistvo is thrust into the water.

As the boat reaches the dock, Jake and Sherry will think they are safe, but Ubistvo isn't done yet. When you have control again, either cover Sherry or back away from Ubistvo unti Ada comes in to finish the deed. Now, make your way to the double doors for a cutscene.
