Sherry Birkin is an agent for the Division of Security Operations (DSO), one of the survivors of Raccoon City, and daughter to the late Umbrella scientist William Birkin.
She is sent to Edonia in search of someone with antibodies to the C-virus and finds Jake Muller, who she vows to protect no matter what.
