Your first goal at the beginning of the game is to create your character after the introduction, who will be designated as the New Kid. Once you have finished, you will be in your room and in control of him. Feel free to move around and get used to the controls, including opening the toy chest by your bed, which is a storage locker.
| Remember to always look around no matter your location to explore for any items you can grab, which will be designated by X (PS3) or A (360) being shown on the screen. This will not only net you money, but will also get you items you can sell for money, as well as other items. |
| Achievement/Trophy Alert |
| You can get ready to get an achievement/trophy by going into the bathroom upstairs in your house and sitting on the toilet. Once you do, mash the showb button and then grab the Shit Nugget from the toilet. Use this on an enemy in battle to earn the Made This for You achievement/trophy. |
For now, head downstairs and grab the money off of the counter in the kitchen. You can talk to your mother if you want, who says to go outside and make some friends. Head to the front door and your father will force you outside.
To continue on, go on the sidewalk and go to the right to see two kids doing battle. Walk up to the elf and press the button to smack him, which triggers a short scene where he'll run off and Butters will become your friend. Follow him to the green house, where you'll be introduced to Cartman the Grand Wizard.
Follow Cartman through his living room (grab the Garage Key from the table next to the couch) and into his kingdom. Talk to both Clyde and Scott Malkinson for them to become your friends, then to Kenny to receive the Flower for a Princess sidequest.
Talk to Cartman and he'll ask you your name. No matter what you put, you will be called Douchebag (says "Yes" twice to get the Acceptance achievement/trophy). After that, you get to pick your class. Note that other than bonuses that equipment gives to each class, as well as Abilities, there isn't much of a difference in regards to the classes.
Cartman tells you to go buy a weapon from Clyde, so go to him and depending on your class, there will be a level 1 weapon available for you to buy. Equip it and you'll be thrown into a practice battle with Clyde. Follow the instructions in the battle to finish it, after which you'll get a notice that the Elves are attacking.
Go around and hit the Elves to go into battle with them, noting that there will be some more gameplay mechanics explained to you in the process. There are three Elves to battle against and make sure you loot their bodies after completing the battles with them. Once you're finished, the Elves will retreat and you'll start the next quest.
