Located in some of the bigger Ammu-Nations across the game are large red markers which will initiate a challenge. You will need to go through 3 stages with 4 different weapons before you pass it. The first weapon is the Pistol, followed by the Micro-SMG, Shotgun and AK-47, respectively. Each weapon has its own separate challenge, so you will end up doing a total of 12 rounds in the end.
In each round, you are firing on a total of three targets that have six red circles on them. When you hit inside of the red circle, that part will be blown off. Your objective is to get all six pieces on all three targets removed before either of your opponents. If you fail on a challenge, you only have to restart on that particular weapon and not all over from the very beginning with the pistol.
- Round 1 - First target is close, and each subsequent one will get farther away.
- Round 2 - Each target starts in the far back and will slowly get closer.
- Round 3 - There is only one target and all three competitors will be firing on it. Each piece hit will score one point, with the first competitor to 20 points being declared the winner.
The Pistol and Micro SMG challenges are fairly easy and shouldn't give you hardly any trouble at all. It isn't until the third round in the Shotgun and AK-47 challenges where the competition will start getting a bit heated, as both of the weapons are easy marks when hitting the targets. This makes it so that the competition can easily outscore you.
For the Shotgun one, the goal is to keep firing and moving around on the targets. It is probably the more difficult of the two, since the Shotgun is a pump-action one, meaning you will have to reload after every shot. For the AK-47 one, the best method might be to just spray at the targets and hope you get more than the others.
