Chickens are passive mobs found in the overworld, in almost every biome.
While alive chickens will produce an egg every 5-10 minutes, upon their death you can receive feathers and/or a raw chicken. Chickens will not avoid water and if they fall from a height they will flap their wings to nullify any damage.To breed a chicken you just have to throw an egg by right-clicking. When thrown, there is a ⅛ chance of a chick being born.
