Hardcore mode follows just like survival mode in every way except two: you are unable to change the difficulty, which will always be set at hardcore (which is equal to survivals hard difficulty) and that when the player dies, their world will get deleted. The only way to avoid the world from getting deleted is to save the file by using 3rd party tools, otherwise, if you leave the game after your death and reload it ,you will come to the game over screen, asking for the world’s deletion.
