Creative mode, unlike the other two gameplay modes, is not about the player surviving off the blocks and material they can find, but instead a place where you create amazing things. In this mode there is no health bar nor hunger bar. The player has the ability to fly around and is given unlimited amount of almost every kind of block in their inventory. There are also other small tweaks, such as being able to power minecarts with your hand, being effectively invisible to mobs, etc. Without needing to find materials for blocks this mode allows players to make variety of things such as pixel art, castles, rollercoasters and more. Though you can’t die, unless you manage to fall through bedrock too far, hostile mobs are still around in this mode, meaning creepers are still a threat to a player's structure if it blows up nearby. This shouldn't happen though, seeing as the creepers ignore players in creative. There are certain blocks and items that are exclusive to this mode which include sponges and spawn eggs. As mentioned before, you can have almost every kind of block in your inventory except fire, water, lava, snow layers, mob spawners, end portals and giant mushroom blocks, as well as a few other technical blocks. While in creative mode you can use the most powerful block in the game, the Command Block.
