Villagers are passive mobs found in the overworld, normally in the plains or desert biomes.
Unlike the passive animals who wander the world randomly, the villagers live in houses located in their small village. Also unlike most other mobs, villagers don’t drop anything when they are killed, and the other villagers won’t attack you for doing so. But if you do kill a villager, the Iron Golem will attack you, like any other mobs who kill a villager inside the village.
