All of these weapons are a little bit unusual. They don't always belong to a particular category, such as the screwdriver which functions very similarly to a knife but is, of course, not actually a knife. Their uses will be discussed below.
| Fire Poker
| The Fire Poker is a very deadly weapon in the right hands. When attacking from the front, it acts sort of like a cleaver and is struck into the person's head while from behind it can be used for strangulation. Because of the sharp tip, it can also be used as a deadly projectile but it is heavy. |
| Fiber Wire
| The Fiber Wire is one of the two signature weapons of Agent 47. He starts most levels with the Fiber Wire and on levels where he does not, he usually finds a temporary substitute very quickly. The wire is used from behind to strangle a person and when complete, it allows Agent 47 to immediately drag the body. |
| Measuring Tape
| The measuring tape is one of the impromptu devices that Agent 47 may use instead of the Fiber Wire in levels where he doesn't start with it. If he does start with the Fiber Wire, it will be changed out for the Measuring Tape. The Measuring Tape is used in the exact same way. This type of measuring tape tends to be made of a heavy duty plastic and used by crime scene investigators or tailors. |
| Hammer
| The hammer is a common melee weapon. It is a little bit different from the club like weapons in that the handle is very short. It is a very short range weapon that can be used in combat or for stealth kills. Keep in mind that it is quite loud though. Being so light, it is useful for a thrown distraction. |
| Scissors
| Scissors are somewhat similar to a knife. They are used in a piercing method rather than for cutting and are a little bit shorter. They can be thrown to kill and are also useful for distractions. |
| Screwdriver
| The screwdriver is a somewhat common item in the game. You'll find it near toolboxes or on certain trades people. It can be used to stab, it can impale when thrown and used as a distraction. |
| Power Cord
| The power cord is a very useful ligature substitute. You'll find it a in a few locations and it will take the place of the Fiber Wire. Like the fiber wire, it is extremely quiet, quick and allows you to drag your victim immediately after death. |
| Metal Pipe
| You'll find metal pipes in a lot of maintenance or basement areas. It's also common in piles of junk which makes it a semi-common item throughout the game. The Metal Pipe can be used for strangulation, thrown for a distraction or used like a club in combat. |
| Gavel
| The gavel is a light weight item and can be used for bludgeoning an enemy in combat, strangling a person from behind or throwing as a distraction. While you don't need to be carrying the gavel, 47 will pull one out of his robes if he impersonates a judge and ends a trial. |
| Cleaver
| The Cleaver acts sort of similar to the hammer. It can be used for striking from the front or behind but it is rather loud considering how instant the death is. It can also be thrown for a distraction. |
| Crowbar
| The crowbar is similar to the metal pipe in that it can be used to strangle but is also very useful in melee combat. It is semi-common and can be found nearby packing containers such as oil drums and crates. |
| Katana
| The Katana is undoubtedly a weapon. When used from behind, the sword is run through the abdomen causing a quick death. When attacking from the front, 47 will swing the sword from the upper right to the lower left, instantly killing the target. When dressed as a Samurai, a Katana is automatically produced whenever you use the armor stand as a hiding place. |
