Donny Vermillion is a Terran character in the StarCraft universe who works as a chief anchor for the Universe News Network (UNN). He always reports Jim Raynor's actions as negative, even though they are positive. Also, Donny often cuts out Kate Lockwell's transmission before she can say anything praising about Raynor and his raiders.

Milo Kachinsky is a Terran character in the StarCraft universe who works as an engineer of the Hyperion. He often gets put by his chief, Rory Swann, to work on the weapons research on-board of the ship.

Mira Han is a Terran mercenary in the StarCraft universe. After she won a game of poker, she married Matt Horner (who lose it and was unaware of the consequences). She got recruited by Jim Raynor who now she works for.

Nova Terra is a character with special training as a Ghost (special Terran soldier). During the Second War, Nova is part of the Terran Dominion led by Arcturus Mengsk and acts violently by trying to kill Jim Raynor's mysterious ally, Gabriel Tosh.

Orlan is a Terran character in the StarCraft universe, expert in Confederate systems decryption. He got hired by Jim Raynor to decrypt a Dominion Adjutant but he took it and tried to sell it to the Dominion. He got caught and forced by Mira Han to give the device back to Raynor.

Rory Swann is a chief engineer on the Hyperion. He develops new mechanical warfare and constantly improves Jim Raynor's units and vehicles.

Tychus Findlay
Tychus Findlay is a Terran marine character in the StarCraft universe who had an old friendship with Jim Raynor. He was sentenced to cryonic imprisonment for the various crimes he committed. He was freed by the Moebius Founndation and sealed inside his armor until he honored his mysterious promise.

Valerian Mengsk
As a son of Arcturus Mengsk, he dedicated himself to physical conditioning and weapons training without the guidance of his father. Valerian doesn't always agree with his father's ways and doesn't consider all his father's enemies his enemies.

The Overmind
The Overmind was a brain-like entity of indeterminate age. It was created by the xel'naga on the zerg homeworld of Zerus to bring order to the zerg and guide them into merging with the protoss.
Protoss

Artanis
Artanis is a character in the Starcraft franchise. He is a high templar and commander who appears in Starcraft: Brood War and Starcraft II. As an ambitious leader, he is the youngest templar to receive the rank of executor and praetor.

Mohandar
Mohandar is a Protoss character in the StarCraft universe, leader of the Nerazim and member of the Hierarchy. He makes his appearance in a Wings of Liberty mission, in Overmind's vision, where he gets killed making the last stand against Amon's hybrids.

Selendis
As a protoss high executor, she is part of the game core together with Raszagal and Lassara. Because of her devotion to Aiur, she is a friend of Jim Raynor.

Urun is a Protoss character in the StarCraft universe, leader of the Auriga Tribe and member of the Hierarchy. His goal was to retake Aiur for the glory of the Protoss. In Overmind's vision, he makes his last stand against Amon's hybrid army.

Tassadar was born in 2143 into a generation that looked ahead to a dynamic future. He was frustrated by the stoic view that his elders held of the past and felt that the unbending nature of the protoss and their inability to re-evaluate ancient traditions would be the doom of his race.

The Adjutants are a type of character in the StarCraft universe and a form of AI (Artificial Intelligence) used by the Terrans. Their purpose is to decrypt information, navigate, administrate, store data and advise the terran fleet commanders. While speaking, their eyes' color change.

Amon is a Hybrid character in the StarCraft universe. He is refeered to as the "Fallen One" and is the entity of a dark master seeking to return from the dead and destroy everything. He controlls the Hybrids (a combination between Zerg and Protoss) and is the master of Emil Narud, one who is trying to bring Amon back.

Samir Duran is an enigmatic character introduced in Brood War, where he was voiced by Paul Ainsley. Duran is highly intelligent and manipulative, as well as knowledgeable about both the Protoss and Zerg.
