Bruno is the third member of the Elite Four; although he is considered a master in using Fighting types Bruno uses an Onix during the first match. When first facing Bruno his Pokemon are an Onix, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, Hitmonlee and Machamp in the second match he uses a Hitmontop, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Machamp, Hariyama and Lucario.
