Morty is the gym leader for Ecruteak City; he specializes in Ghost type Pokemon. When first challenging him he has two Haunters, a Gastly and a Gengar in the dojo rematch he has two Gengars, a Sableye, Drifblim, Dusknoir and a Mismagius.
