Falkner is the gym leader for Violet City; he specializes in Flying type Pokemon. When first challenging him he has Pidgey and Pidgeotto in the dojo rematch he has a Pidgeot, Noctowl, Honchkrow, Swellow, Pelipper and Staraptor.
