Cinnabar Island is in the southernmost part of the Kanto region; it is surrounded by water and is only possible to reach by going through water Routes 20 and 21. After a volcanic eruption the island was decimated, so far only the Pokecenter has been rebuilt and the gym has been relocated to the Seafoam Islands to the east of Cinnabar.
