Lance is the current Pokemon League Champion who specializes in Dragon type Pokemon, Clair the gym leader for Blackthorn City is Lance’s cousin. When you go into Team Rockets secret base in Mahoney Town Lance joins you in foiling Team Rocket’s plans and you later meet Lance in the Indigo Plateau where you challenge him for his title. In your first match Lance uses three Dragonites, a Charizard, Gyarados and Aerodactyl in your second match he uses a Dragonite, Charizard, Gyarados, Garchomp, Salamence and Altaria.
