Berries are the only items in the game that works both as a held item and a healing item. There are a total of 64 berries each with their own special effects from healing a status condition to raising critical hit ratio when your Pokemon’s health goes below 25%. In Pokemon Heart Gold/ Soul Silver you have Berry Pots which can hold 4 berry trees and are portable.
